What is Implant Dentistry?
Dental implants are anchors placed into bone to replace a missing tooth, replace multiple misssing teeth, and stabilize dentures. Teeth may be lost to periodontal disease, traumatic injury, or tooth decay. Dental implants are made from medical grade titanium. At Restorative & Implant Dentistry of Long Island (RIDLI), Dr. Rosen and Dr. Shaw head our team in providing services utilizing state of the art materials, clinical techniques, laboratory procedures and advanced cosmetic technology.
Today, for many patients, teeth can be placed on dental implant anchors immediately on the day of placement using “Teeth in an Hour” and additional immediate loading technology. Transitional teeth are utilized at RIDLI so our patients don’t have to be without teeth for those patients where delayed tooth placement is required.
With offices centrally located in East Meadow in Nassau County and Melville in Suffolk County, RIDLI is uniquely able to provide for all your restorative and cosmetic dental needs.
Our office managers, Betty in East Meadow and Rita in Melville, are available to answer all your dental implant questions.
