Please note that we are a FEE FOR SERVICE office. What this means is should you have dental coverage that requires you seek care “from a Dentist on a list” of providers, you will receive NO coverage from your Plan in our office and will
be responsible for our private fees, in full. Dr. Shaw is the ONLY Dentist in our office and is NOT a participant on any Plan that mandates the Doctor “sign up” and agree to an insurance carrier’s significantly reduced fee schedule.
Payment is required, in full, from the patient, as services are rendered. Our staff is efficient and experienced in maximizing your coverage and will submit electronically, where allowed, or by mail otherwise for your reimbursement
and will do so as services are rendered. The staff will diligently follow up on all claims, to be sure you are paid as promptly as your Insurance company allows, based upon the Companies predetermined fee schedule.
